About Hodebry Pedagogical workshop- Tor Thodesen
Tor Thodesen (1966) owns and operates his own company, called HPV (Hodebry Pedagogisk Verksted ENK). He is educated at the Norwegian University of Sports (NIH) and is a holder of the highest coaching education (UEFA Pro license) through the Norwegian Football Association (NFF).
Tor has worked as a professional football coach since 1991, when he started as a goalkeeper coach in the A-team of Lyn. Since then he has worked in clubs such as Vålerenga, Brann, Sandefjord Fotball and Moss. Abroad he has worked at the highest level in five countries on three continents; Estonia, Finland, UAE and Senegal. Today he is Head Coach in the American Blue Crow Sports group LCC's prestigious project African Elite Academy in Botswana. He has also had various administrative roles, such as Sports Manager Football in NTG and Department Head Top Sports in high school, in addition to Sports Manager and Coach Developer in various clubs.

Working with people is something you are never taught in. The football coaching profession is first and foremost an experience-based profession, at the same time as the subject is constantly evolving. We offer young coaches with ambitions to be a discussion partner with a point of view outside the inner sphere of the club. The top coach education in Norway recommends young coaches to establish mentoring schemes.
